Drymen August 2023
Friendly, inviting, tidy small village. Never really know where it is.
Is it in the Trossachs. Is it part of Stirlingshire or even the gateway to the eastern shores of Loch Lomond. We have passed through Drymen many times. On route to Balmaha,Aberfoyle or Stirling. Always wanted to stop and have a wander round.

Well finally we made it. Today we went to the village for lunch.
Lovely village. As I said it is very tidy and well looked after.
The Clachan was our choice for lunch. The Inn, was first licensed in 1734. The food was good and the locals were friendly. One gentleman expressed his feelings on the ladies World cup sending off. Luckly Both sexes found him funny.
We forgot we had stopped for a drink in the Buchanan Arms hotel.
It was a few years back.

You can see western end of the Campsie Fells and close to Endrick Water. It`s also the start of the Rob Roy Way.
After lunch we had a stroll round. Really nice place and hopefully it won`t be long till we stop for lunch again.
