Portrush Northern Ireland
Our first visit was during our 7 day road trip round Ireland. Great start to a great adventure. It`s the beach which make this seaside resort so special.We had only a short time but enough time to walk along the main sandy beach.
October 2020 we returned for 2 nights this time.Giving us more time to explore.

Portrush West Strand
The town is 5 miles north of Coleraine, in between Portstewart and Portballintrae. Great wee town with lots of places to enjoy a beer and a bite to eat.
Portrush has Barry's Amusements.Which is the largest amusement park in Northern Ireland.
We have stayed at a bed and breakfast right across from the beach. The next time we were in Portrush we stayed at the Inn on the coast.
The town has three beaches with Blue Flags. Really -I should have said all the beaches in the area.
They are the West and East Strands in town and the Whiterocks futher along the coast.
