Mugdock Park July 2018
Another Saturday another trip out.This time we did not venture far.About a half hour drive from our home.
We usually go to Dumclog reservoir for some much needed exercise but this time we went to Mugdock country park. Ended up a super few hours.Tons of Fresh air and great views over to the Campsies hills.
Even some history.
Look out for the 14th-century Mugdock Castle and the Craigend Castle from the nineth century.

The Clan Graham had the original castle. Members from the US come over every couple of years to visit. They also raise money for Mugdock
Great place for walking a dog. Why not sit and have a coffee.The visitors centre is cool.There is a map to let you plan your walk.

Always keep to the route. Watch out for farm or forestry workers.
Khyber fields in Mugdock Country Park
We finished our day by enjoying lunch in The Blane Valley Inn.Lovely pub with good food.
