Early start for another wonderful day out in my homeland.
This time I am travelling by bus. It turned up bang on time. I am out to see Scotland with it`s winters coat on. I was not disappointed.
It took a while for the sun to rise. I noticed that Ben Lomond had a covering of snow on it. After Loch Lomond the bus started to climb. Now the landscape is getting whiter and whiter and weather is getting worse.

There was very few people on the coach so the driver stopped in Tyndrum for us to stretch our legs. I got chatting with a guy from Nigeria. He had never seen snow before. He was really enjoying the journey. The driver asked us to get back on the bus.
You can now see the famous long distance walk. The West Highland Way and the trainline run side by side.
Bridge of Orchy is next up. The snow was really falling now.
Really love this area. Even more beautiful with a snow covering. We stopped again at the famous Pipers Carpark to take pictures. The driver saw me taking photographs on the bus so he guessed I would enjoy the scenery here. He was not wrong.

Short drive from here to Glencoe. This was the highlight of the whole trip. Return journey was better the snow had stopped which made my images better. Remember the pictures were taken from the bus, so not perfect. This valley has mountains on both sides. Really beautiful.
Buachaille Etive Mòr, Known as The Buachaille.
Mountain at the head of Glen Etive. A kind of Pyramid shaped mountain.Photographed from our bus window.

Short time later we reach our destination. Fort William.
The base for walking up Britain`s highest mountain. Ben Nevis. It was 3 hour journey from Clydebank.
There was time for a breakfast and an enjoyable couple of beers. The return journey was just as special. The bus was full so no time to stop for photos.
