Gourock Feb 2023
I was wondering what to do. Since retiring I have been out most days.
I wanted a change. I enjoy walking the local area but today I wanted to go somewhere different. Mrs b suggested Gourock. So Gourock it was.

I left Dalmuir -Clydebank around 10.30.Changed in Glasgow Central and was in Gourock for midday. The sun was out and the Firth of Clyde was looking good.
There is an open-air pool. Which is one of the three remaining in Scotland. 2010 It was revamped. Will give that a bye. There is a feeling of an old seaside resort. The front is special. You can walk for miles and miles along beside the seaside.
The viewing tower on Tower Hill was built in 1847.The view is always worth the steep walk.
I had a couple of beers in the Victoria bar. Friendly staff and good pint.
