Another Saturday. Another Adventure
This time a bit different. Early morning start.
Left house 6.15am . Rather sleepy
RSPB Loch Lomond was our destination. We drive to Balloch. Then through Gartocharn and on about a mile to meet up with the RSPB team. The plan was to view the Greenland White-fronted goose.
Sadly these guys had left their roosts. As it was so clear last night the geese left early. We were there just after seven.Could not go much earlier. Mrs B would have gone back to bed.
We walked on to a hill and enjoyed the sunrise and watched the Canadian and Pink-Footed geese fly by. RSPB staff are so knowledgeable. Before today all I knew was they fly in a v shape.

They always make heads turn when they pass. The view down the loch was amazing.Mountains with their winter coats on. The moon came down over the mountains. Stunning.
It was rather cold but the hot chocolate did the trick. There was a buzz every time geese passed.
After a couple of hours of taking images and chatting about the birds of Scotland we say our goodbyes and head to Balmaha for breakie.
Full Scottish Breakfast went down a treat.
After the Oaktree we walked along the shore to Milarrochy Bay. What a day -The hills were magical and the Loch was blue as it gets.
Another fab Scottish day oot.

The pink-footed goose is a smaller than a mute swan.
Emma (our RSPB guide] would shout there`s Pinkies, there`s Pinkies. Everyone searched the sky to see Pinkies. It has a pink bill and pink feet and legs.

Big huge thanks to Emma and the team for their knowledge and their friendly way of showing us Scotland`s bird community.
