Lunch this afternoon
When I hear the word Carbeth. I always think of the Inn. For many years it was very popular with bikers. Sunday afternoon pints when Glasgow pubs were shut.
Its on the Stockiemuir Road. Between Glasgow and Loch Lomond. It is now known as St Mockha, Carbeth .The UK's first drive-thru specialty coffee shop.

The Carbeth Inn was established in 1816 and closed 2016.
Brothers Stuart and David Fraser bought the site with great plans to develop the whole area not just the drive in.
They own the Oak tree and other property in Balmaha.
Now it serves soft drinks, coffee and sandwiches/snacks.
Different world but still good.

There is an old bus where you can sit and enjoy your coffee.
Watch out the rain can come in the window and leave the seats wet.
We really enjoyed our lunch and will return soon.
