Going back to Port Seton
33 years ago we spent a week at Seton Sands caravan park.Our son Andrew was just a baby 3 months old.
The vans were not as advanced as today.In fact they were very basic.  
We used to wrap Andrew in lorna`s Coney
fur coat to keep him warm.
​Still found memories of our adventure to the east. 

Port Seton Roadtrip      175miles
Our first road trip of 2019. We checked the weather forecast and we decided to go east.
​Gee Bee was our driver.He done a great job.

Rosslyn Chapel was our first stop.
Famed for the popular film"The Da Vinci Code" released in 2006.Sadly we had no time to go in. 

Our main reason for today`s trip was to go back to the fishing port of Port Seton.
​The harbour is the main attraction. Eric spotted a seal.It never surfaced again.
We enjoy a drink in the friendly pub the Torntree inn.

Caravan park is a short walk from the town centre.We recall how we used to push the buggy along the road into town.The weather was not always kind to us.It has a small beach and tons of fresh air.
​We took the green bus into Edinburgh a few times.Enjoyed that.An adventure in they days.

Seton Sands

After our stop in Port Seton we drove on the North Berwick .Lovely we coastal town.
We had visited not that long ago so we knew our way around. Lunch at the Ship was perfect.
​Venture on to the beach. After a short time we decide to head home.
Great wee roadtrip. Well done Gee Bee
