Family holidays are great memory makers. Tenerife was no different.
Not too long a flight. But long enough with two kids.
When you first see the island from your airplane window you see Spain's tallest mountain. Mount Teide. Tenerife is a rugged and volcanic island sculpted by successive eruptions throughout its history. . The island is easily explored by car or with a "bono bus" ticket, which offers reductions on regular prices.

Playa Olid
We stayed at Playa Olid Apartments Playa de las Américas.
The island has many beaches (with sands from yellow to black) and resort areas, including Los Cristianos and
Playa de las Américas. Tenerife is one of Spain’s Canary Islands.
Being so far south the weather is warm all year long.

There are many boat trips to see Dolphins and day outs to see Mount Teide. All worth a few hours of your holiday.
