The Arrochar Alps are a group of mountains located around the head of Loch Long,Loch Fyne,and Loch Goil, near the villages of Arrochar and Lochgoilhead in Argyll,

Arrochar Roadtrip 2013
Left Lunch time . Drove along Lomond side. Turn left just after Inverbeg hotel . Over Glen Douglas. Stopped to admire the view over Loch Long. First stop 3village cafe for Roll in sausage and tattie scone. Which was brill . Next stop in Arrocher hotel to park . Walk round the village to Argyll forest park . 1.30 hour walk -- Climb up a bit then flat to Ardgarten. Then stroll back to Arrochar. Refreshments in Ben Arthurs Bothy. Home via Helensburgh Dull weather to start then lovely sunny weather in the afternoon.

We left Clydebank in search of a good place to have lunch. The rain was stoating down. After much discussion we decided to go to Arrocher. Sorry the images are not perfect.

We had lunch in the Ben Arthur. The BLT was super and Cathy made us so welcome.
