Another few days at our favourite caravan park.
We love it so much because it has so many good walks and near the town.
After the train journey down we walked to the site. Our caravan was not ready till 5.00pm so we had a drink in the clubhouse.
At night we went to the local Italian restaurant- Limoncello.
Nice meal. On the way home we had a beer in the red lion.

Tuesday
Went to Atelier on Bridge street for lunch. Never really enjoyed it. Dinner at the Berwick Golf course. Then a nice walk along the cliff path to the lighthouse. As we walked along the pier a lady came up to us and told us she had seen a dolphin. As we walked we could see them. Superb display. I have seen plenty before but not as many at the same time. Sadly to say I did not have my camera with me.

Wednesday
Lazy day --Had lunch at Chandlers. Not very special. After lunch we went on search of a local bar to have a pint.
We found the Pilot inn. Local pub. Nice people.At night we went to Foxton on Hidehill --Really good food but expensive. We were too stuffed for after dinner drinks so we walked along the Pier. Then along the path looking over the cliffs. Walked as far as you can.
Our caravan is in Border close. Which is near the path.

Golf course for Breakfast.
Any time we have been along at the Lighthouse we have have looked over to the sandy beach. Wondered what was over there. For all the years we have been going we never took time to venture round to it. This year decided to have a look at Spital beach.
We walked over the old bridge. Passed the docks and on to Tweedmouth.

While we were there we saw whales not too far from the beach.

Homeward bound. After breakfast we headed for the 10.20 Berwick to Edinburgh train. Big huge thanks to the ticket collector. He let us off with charging us because we were on wrong train. Different rail company. We should have been on the 10.38.
